So, I was on a mining mission underground, getting copper and such, but when I resurfaced I couldn’t find my house. Something similar happened before, where I spawned north of my house, where the stairs down were south. So, since I lived on the coast, I decided to follow the beach around the island. Bad, bad idea. I then chose to go underground, in a vain attempt to find a cave I’d been in previously. I ended up finding a cave and making a house and farm, as depicted.

before i go on long ventures i make sure i have enough charcoal to craft torches(99 should be plenty) like a bread crumb trail back home 😉

Yeah, I probably should have done that. And actually, while searching, I realized you can just use a hoe to make a trail, too.
